Risk Assessments - Fusarium Mycotoxins
Arable members are reminded that it is now a requirement of the Scheme to have a copy of the HGCA's 'Guidelines to minimise risk of fusarium mycotoxins in cereals' and to regularly complete risk assessments to decide the extent of the measures to be taken to reduce the risk of contamination of stored grain by mycotoxins.
A blank risk assessment is included within the Arable and Sugar Beet manual or alternatively copies can be downloaded from the Members section of this website.
The Post Harvest Treatment Declaration form (grain passports) has also been revised and now includes a section relating to the risk assessment result and testing requirements which farmers will be required to complete.
