BPEX Pig Health Scheme (BPHS)
The BPHS will, in August, approach the end of its first three years in operation. Over this time a large proportion of producers supplying finished pigs have opted to receive reports from health checks carried out on their pigs at abattoirs and then used the information to improve the health and welfare on their unit and ultimately benefit their business.
BPHS is continuing and producers who join and pay their membership fee for the new BPHS by the end of August have the opportunity to enter a free draw to win a refund of their membership fee for the full three years. For more information visit the BPEX website (www.bpex.org.uk) or call 01463 233184
